Everything I am is because of the Lord and I give all the glory to Him. The simple truth is God will take care of you. Take the leap of faith, ask Jesus into your heart, accept His gift of grace, trust and live for Him. Psalm 59:16 "But I will sing of your strength, in the morning I will sing of your love; for you are my fortress, my refuge in times of trouble." I am a singer/songwriter playing for the sheer joy of it. I've been finding peace singing at my piano all my life. I'm happy to sing and play for my supper anytime. :)

Lyrics
Minutes before midnight with witnesses in place The guard strapped him to the table and stood aside to wait While the mother of the victim sat alone in the front door With his last words he spoke of that day, ten years ago I was foolish and eighteen with the wrong kinds of friends When we robbed the BP station, the beginning of my end I just took a pack of Camels, I was in it for the thrill I didn't mean to fire my gun, I didn't mean to kill your girl I've begged the Lord's forgiveness, I'm asking you to try Now guard, warn me when it's my time to die Count back from ten, said the guard, as the drugs were applied He cried, Count me back from ten to the day before that day To when my world my world knew sunshine, not this world of gray Release me from this prison my soul's been living in Count me back from ten, Lord, give me peace again Through the glass she saw him take his final breath It brought no comfort, but she had to see his death Her mind drifted to the policemen at the door When she dropped down to her knees and cried out to the Lord I don't understand it, explain so I can know Why as the clock strikes midnight I'm alone in the front row Serving the life sentence I began ten years ago Why can't you Count me back from ten to the day before that day To when my world my world knew sunshine, not this world of gray Release me from this prison my soul's been living in Count me back from ten, Lord, give me peace Count me back from ten, Lord, give me peace again
