Paul is a prolific singer songwriter who is devoted to writing and recording popular rock songs of his own design!

I am Paul (: A diverse artist who's focus is creation of recorded art and live performance.. BMI/ASCAP/Sony/BMG/Global/Universal Music Group Recording Artist/Publisher/Thespian/Producer Hopelessly devoted to all of my friends! A prolific singer songwriter who is devoted to writing and recording popular rock songs of his own design. Artistically he is a chameleon who's music truly reflects intelligence, warmth, and emotion. The constant unique vocal delivery is distinct and a one of a kind sound that truly reflects the true individual artist he has become! Paul showed an early interest in music taking guitar at 5 and clarinet lessons at the age of 8. He continued on to the study of percussion at the age of 10. By the time he was 14 he was writing his own songs and working with a music publisher learning the ins and outs of the music publishing business and honing his songwriting skills. Paul had written over 100 songs by the age of 16 and started fronting and playing guitar in the short-lived Jolly Roger band. Jolly Roger recorded two songs and disbanded in 1987. Paul continued writing and recording home demos of his compositions and moved California in 1993.He recorded his first professional demos for an album that was never finished and the tapes were shelved and forgotten. In 1994 Paul moved back to Nashville and generated interest from publishers when Nashville Recording Artist/Writer Linda Hargrove heard Paul's demo tapes and started circulating them around town. Paul published several songs with Sony Music and started to work as a session player known for his electric slide guitar work. He continued writing and recording his original compositions and eventually was signed by BMG in 1998 when he started co writing songs with Nashville Award winning songwriters Nellie Freels Smith and Don Wayne. Several of the songs written with Freels Smith and Wayne were cut on Paul's Battery Operated Orange release in 1999. In 2003 Paul took a break from recording and enrolled in school to study music. He studying Music Composition along with Piano, Guitar, and Voice.
