Who Can Say (demo)

"Who Can Say" was originally written back in 1986. What you're hearing is the demo version, carefully rescued from an old audio cassette. The song later appeared on our 1987 album Mending Wall, but I've always had a soft spot for this raw demo.

Story behind the song
"Who Can Say" was originally written back in 1986. What you're hearing is the demo version, carefully rescued from an old audio cassette. The song later appeared on our 1987 album Mending Wall, but I've always had a soft spot for this raw demo. When you're recording demos, time and budget are tightyou're often rushing just to capture the songs on tape before the clock runs out. Back then, I never got the chance to fully arrange or polish it the way I envisioned. Nearly 40 years later, I've finally been able to give it the treatment it deserved. One of my favorite things to do is create visuals that complement the music I make, and this is my latest one. I truly hope you enjoy it.
