It will always make sense if you don't think about it too much.
I've been writing, recording and performing music for longer than I care to admit. Let's just say 20-25 years... give or take... as the crow flies. In the studio I do about everything except drums. I'm not 'great' at anything, just 'pretty good' at a lot of different things. I currently front 7 different line ups and outfits of various shapes and sizes and that keeps me playing pretty much year around. I can scale it down for budget-gigs and I can expand it out for the 'Big Show'. Current Acts: 1. SOLO- Louie McNeal (Acoustic Guitar and Vocal) 2. DUO 1- Fitzpatrick/ McNeal (2 Acoustic Guitars and 2 Vocals) 3. DUO 2 - Mc2 (Acoustic Guitar, Bass and 2 Vocals) 4. TRIO 1. - Acousticats (2 Acoustic Guitars, Upright Bass and 3 Vocals) 5. TRIO 2. - Hard Edits (Electric Guitar, Bass, Drums and 3 vocals 6. TRIO 3. - LTC (2 Acoustic Guitars, Percussion and 3 vocals) 7. QUARTET- Long Time Coming (Acoustic Guitar, Electric Guitar, Bass, Drums and 4 Vocals) [Though the majority of these bands and acts primarily focus on genre specific cover material, they are all capable of performing our impressive catalog of original compositions, when the opportunity presents itself.] I have recorded and produced 9 of my own albums (most available here on this site) and I have produced countless other acts and performers throughout my region. I love collaborating on songwriting. Some of my more accessible and popular tracks are ones where I worked with a collaborator. Music is my life. I sacrificed a LOT to be able to do it on my own terms and be happy about it. There are easier ways to go, but I prefer the more challenging aspects of writing, recording and performing my music. I really like the phrase, "A calm and easy ocean will make a lousy sailor out of you." Don't know who said it, but I seem to live by it.

Lyrics
V1: It’s a shame that you never, wear your suit of tar and feathers You belong together, hope it sticks to you forever V1b: They have collections, of connections, providing protection, from elections No one dares, nobody cares, not even prayers, are heard up there V2: It’s a shame, inside a sickness, and with supernatural quickness You get denied by an agent, who shares the name of his witness V2b: They’re critical, clinical, the typical, political With systematic, automatic, bureaucratic, acrobatics Chorus: Yeah, it’s a crying shame, as they're quick to insist Things are subject to change, if they say you're high-risk This game's always been broken, because it’s always been fixed So please explain, why we suffer the pain, of allowing it to exist V3: The pickers, and the choosers, see no winners, only losers They're paper-pushing killers, just corporate dealers, who need users V3b: And the fortunes that they gain, set in accounts without a name In some sunny haven, down in the Caymen’s, where no taxes can be claimed Bridge: Shame always lingers, on the pudgy trigger-fingers Of cos-play cops, out of shape pork chops, Scared of haters and elderly agitators They shoot to kill, and ask questions later [Repeat Chorus] V4: It’s a shame our constitution, always comes to the conclusion That corporate institutions, are more important than solutions If you want an education, like preceding generations You must trade your imagination, for debt and subjugation Bridge 2: Confusion, is conflation, absolution, is abdication, Revolution, is revelation, mass delusion, is one nation Under God, with liberty, and qualified immunity Don't trust your eyes, or how you feel, reality don't make it real [Outro] It's a dirty rotten shame. A dirty rotten shame.
