I felt like writing more in the style I seem to be best at Pop and Rock. I love blues but I'm not a purist.

I'm not sure what happened when I stepped out of bed I just couldn't wake up from the night I left behind the clock radio was so loud and nothing seemed right stepped out on a cold floor blindly stumbled accross the room could it be the dreams of my unsettled mind? that woke me up in a state of uncertainty like a faulty birth or a child I left behind I cursed the day I stumbled to the kitchen without the lights I loose the shadow don't look behind me keep walking toward the day goodbye shadow I'm walking past you right now What was this dark feeling had I lost all control this really can't be happening how can this be so? as life becomes real and the daylight creeps in I gather up my thoughts I seek comfort from within Suddenly it happened as I saw you sleeping there quiet calm and peaceful like a feather in a breeze as I watched I realized the joy that you can bring to this man of many moods your gift is comforting
