Story behind the song
My motivation for this song is the tragic way we are PROGRAMMED to believe that our elected officials know what is best for us. We need the TRUTH to come out. That truth is this; Drugs are not the problem in themselves, it is the way the LAWS are set up to disadvantage those on both side of the war on drugs. My desire to help bring about a useful dialog and positive compromise for a meaningful and just end to the terrible waste of lives caused by the drug war,(more so than the drugs themselves) Science and technology can help change the way we combat the psychology behind drug addiction. NOT A MILITARY ASSAULT on indiviuals who are already hurting and causing pain and suffering to others.
