Story behind the song
From 1996. During rehersal for Smedleys annual Halloween bash, Henny Bruce, just back from Skafest, started a beat with cheese sticks (string, of course) on the congas that evolved into Punch The Clown/Specials groove. We all joined in. It grew into an old school polkian backBEAT to which he was about to add some rhymes. Webe, the squarehead in the group, added the final layer of percussion on the traps with a pair of 14" dildos leftover from the pre-session warm-up ritual. Hence, the open spoken words.
