folk rock with attutude. robbing banks is music with a message, folk rock with heart.
From Binghamton, NY Robbing Banks is a unique sound, unlike anything else on the rock landscape. Not only are the songs origanal, but so too is the sound and style. This is not your father's folk rock act! Robbing Banks is edge and sharp, melodic and hard.

Story behind the song
In 1998 a lone gunman walked into the Capitol Building and killed two security guards. When asked why, he replied that President Clinton had been following him around, peaking into his windows, and that congress was hiding the ruby satelite, responsible for turning people into flesh eating zombies. This is Russell's song.
Lyrics
Just a face among the faces, Just another in the crowd. Look out all you legislators, Russell Weston is in town, And you can count the bodies on the ground. Another killer from Montana, Must be something in the ground. Everybody better scatter, Russell Weston is in town, And you can count the bodies on the ground. (chorus) Bothered every where he went. Followed by the President. Russell Weston is the name boy. Russell Weston's not to blame boy, Washington drove him insane. (end chorus) Russell Weston is a symptom, Of a world that's gone insane. Russell Weston he's a victim, All of us should take the blame boy, All of us should take the blame. (chorus) (chorus)
