Dead-dog sick but still managed to squeeeek out another one. This song and my last one are both similarily produced. Toying with strings is fun.

catchy rock??? Listen for yourself.
Welcome, there isn't much to say that would make you understand what I do better than just letting you know who I am, which is Jay. I'm the kind of guy who would rather stay inside and write then go outside and play, forever. I'm the kind of guy who falls in love with almost everything, finds it hard to capture it all in a song so has to keep on going. I may be wrong but for me, a good songwriter can't be one that sits back and smells the coffee and relaxes, a real songwriter is basically (in a nice way) tormented by creation, and that is me.

Story behind the song
I wrote this song from the first line to the last. It's about a person that is near death physically and spiritually, they may live, they may die. Either case the person singing this song to them is there for that person. I think the chorus and the 'What about it?' part are to do with the sick person telling their sins and/or diseases and problems to 'the person'. I hear this and smell hospitals, see the clean floors. And I am also reminded of going to the ER recently with my girlfriend. (She's fine btw).
Lyrics
Even in the dark I can see you crying but inside the light no one sees you dying (lay back down lay back down) Listen to me speak have wings, but I'm walking more to life than growing old keep your heart from stopping lay back down try and smile for me lay back down starting over, starting over What about it? what about it? doesn't matter you can sleep all day what about it? what about it? no need to get up I won't be far away If you just believe hear forgiveness calling it's your time to give it up conversations starting Hospitals of white think I finally have you hold you while you sleep alone I've been prayin for you I've been prayin for you What about it? what about it? doesn't matter you can sleep all day what about it? what about it? no need to get up I won't fall away what about it? what about it? broke and battered you can sleep all day what about it? forget about it no need to get up I won't be far away no need to get up I won't be far away
