This ranges from biological weapons to highly complex hybrid cloning. When a human lab rat gets probed with an unstable substance it seems he is about to die, but doesn’t. The subject survives and does not seem be to experiencing any of the effects that were suspected. When the scientist are negotiating his condition a dispute about ethics and morals comes up. The youngest of the scientists snaps and reaches for a syringe to put the subject to sleep. The subject isn’t aware of this because he is kept in a sound proof glass container which is well lighted so he cannot see anything but darkness around him (+his own reflection), while everyone sees him. Before the scientist reaches the container he is stunned by security and brought to the psychic-ward. Night. Subject is sleeping in dim lighted contained. He has a nightmare induced by his probing. He dreams of a world on fire, but the fire is in his veins. He wakes up in sweat (palpitations). He feels charged and just jumps up. He doesn’t smack into the glass but just walks through it (the glass shatteres). An alarm goes off. Infrared heat detectors sense the escape and follow the subject through the complex, but he is walking through wall (breaking up) and falling through floors (jumping from one floor to the next). The chase is unsuccesfull. The subject is in the information vault. He downloads all the information about his probe. Into the night. The subject goes to a lounge club to pick up a fresh catch (the probe makes him very aware of his senses. He picks up a girl and stay half the night at her place. He has the nightmare again. He leaves and walks the streets. He watches a sunrise over traffic and smog. He starts running. He knows he is dying. He cannot eat nor drink. He falls down and smacks an enormous hole into the ground. A clean up team comes to clear the scene. New experiments are still going on today…
