The Insect Brain Project is overall a personal project; I am a photographer and plastic artist, and very interested in music from evertime. I played with some amateur groups, but I wanted to express some of my own ideas about music in other ways. So was born the project an the name Insect Brain as a way to guess. In that moments I had only a Mac computer as gear, so I began to compose and make music with computers, specially with sequencers and synths. Now I am playing more physical instruments like piano, guitar, and saxos, and playing them with other people who someone maybe work with me in this project (a serious game...). José Andrés Prieto
