this song is written about being selfish but still wanting someone to be around you, it's kind of funny at times, the persona is self indulgent and skewed.

a modern kitch dance explosion, not always and up dance.
this is done with me, a guitar and pedal and a laptop, i use cheap beat making software and play guitar over it, and sometimes sing, it is to be appreciated as a minimalist form in postpostpost posi primitive modernity.

Story behind the song
this persona is one that i've experienced, but the song should be taken at a distance and not as personal, and the vocals should be taken as instrumental not pedantic. You'll notice an ending on some obnoxious notes, i am aware of the obnoxiousness of these sustains and i put forth that it is part of this song's sentiment and character. The similarity of words (services, disservice, suffers, surfaces; strong belong etc) is to give the feeling of stagnancy and bore which lies in the life of one who relies solely on themselves. It only slightly changes at the end suggesting a change in the narrator, that of sincere selfishness to a distanced selfishness with perspective, slightly clearer and more clever. but the change is thrown into question with the cyclical nature presented. no need to obey time, past effecting itself in present, the repetition of words and phrases to show the future at the past and so it goes.
Lyrics
i belong to the services of thee, And i 'll be strong when it services me, Times before have surfaced from behind, and i've suffered for the disservices, all mine. it's useless for me to constantly obey time, it gets lonely being selfish and sublime. If it's too late to put my hand around your small waist, that suits me fine, my own is more my taste. and it goes...
