Inspired by "Plush" by STP but sounds more like a song Incubus would write
rock acoustic music songs
Acoustic songs inspired by rock; interesting? original? probably not but I have a blast doing it
Wow, this is odd, having my own website. Actually, I have been playing guitar since sixth grade, and I was in a band from 8th to my senior year in high school. I wrote songs, but I never became passionate about it until my good friend and drummer Ian Sorrentino started writing his own music. I recorded my first few songs with him, and I now record in my dorm room. How cliche. LEAVE A MESSAGE ON THE BOARD IF YOU VISIT THE SITE! Four of my songs are on the Lenny and Oz 3 soundtrack: The Company I Keep, Sinking in the Sand, Blizzard and Defend Reprise (the last two not on site)

Story behind the song
This song was written late one night at my house during my winter break of my freshman year in college.
Lyrics
Rain falls softly onto the leaves of green Masking the sound of your echoing scream But look into your chest to see your own lies I can already see the spots before your eyes I can see it in your goodbyes And I can feel it in you demise Midnight falls upon the muffled cold Stars burn brightly as the darkness takes hold You clutch your hand to your remaining bone Sitting by yourself all others have gone unknown I can see it in their goodbyes And I can feel it in your demise Does it seem we always chase the same circles in the sky? Does it seem we were the first ones to let the stone fly? (x4) This feels so far away again The Sun rises only to set again I breath out my last words again But you only turn and walk away again Don't leave, don't leave me here again Don't bleed, don't bleed me here again
