Lyrics
The tree is up and the lights are on The gifts are wrapped, the wait’s begun While cards are sent to everyone The children laugh it’s oh such fun Hallelujah Christmastime God give us peace and joy this day Hallelujah Christmastime God help the children find their way The scent of pine and the songs of old Warm the soul when the feet get cold Every year the story’s told While mistletoe makes young men bold Hallelujah Christmastime God give us peace and joy this day Hallelujah Christmastime God help the children find their way It’s Santa Claus and a list he’ll keep Of boys and girls who just can’t sleep Parents remember and sometimes weep For memories that run too deep Hallelujah Christmastime God give us peace and joy this day Hallelujah Christmastime God help the children find their way Hallelujah Christmastime God give us peace and joy this day Hallelujah Christmastime God help the children find their way
