my guitar song, you'll see
rock acoustic music songs
Acoustic songs inspired by rock; interesting? original? probably not but I have a blast doing it
Wow, this is odd, having my own website. Actually, I have been playing guitar since sixth grade, and I was in a band from 8th to my senior year in high school. I wrote songs, but I never became passionate about it until my good friend and drummer Ian Sorrentino started writing his own music. I recorded my first few songs with him, and I now record in my dorm room. How cliche. LEAVE A MESSAGE ON THE BOARD IF YOU VISIT THE SITE! Four of my songs are on the Lenny and Oz 3 soundtrack: The Company I Keep, Sinking in the Sand, Blizzard and Defend Reprise (the last two not on site)

Story behind the song
ok, this one is a little strange. One night during the summer I had a dream about a well, I fell into the well and suddenly it was the lord of the rings when aragorn goes underground to find the army of the dead. Then i fell into a huge underwater lake and it was all weird and stuff. so I decided to write about it.
Lyrics
Ever since I fell into that hole Maybe i was pushed A descent into forgotten lands And ancient memories I cannot scale the walls The dirt slips from hands Perhaps there is a tunnel To bring me back home Into a flooded cavern Torches burning bright The souls of fallen soldiers Dancing in the light I swim down past the deluge And find my refuge there To hear sound of warm drums Echo in the air Fly away, fly away This is the last time That I'll be this way So lost, alone, alone, alone Fly Away(x4)
