It's a rough recording of a new song. I'm trying to find someone to play drums, then I'll remix and re-record tracks. Yeah, it's another love song... well, "love lost" song. The figure is a clay model by William F.M. Knight, a friend of mine.

Someday, you will be able to go to http://www.DavidLoeb.com and find a lot more music, video and whatever... but today it'll probably just bump you to a "David Harlow" CD page at CDBaby.com. The "David Harlow" thing (the 3 rocked-up songs) was something of a joint project between myself and my friend David Hardman that we made when we were both in Nashville. He produced it and played ALL the music except for regular drums. I sang all the vocals and wrote the songs. Brad Jones engineered/mixed, Jim DeMain mastered.

Story behind the song
Two close friends whose relationship together was foundering. This is a little demo thing I was working on - ughh, the click track is still in it! - oh well, you can get something of an idea of what I hear in my head with it. The figure is a clay model by William F.M. Knight, a friend of mine. (Sorry Bill the thumbnail's distorted!)
Lyrics
I Know Your Heart is Breaking There once was a time when our worlds were aligned and the sun seemed to shine on our daydreams All through the spring into summer we'd sing each and every day But summer has gone, all the leaves, all our songs now the winds have begun and it's raining, Come up to me and say what you see, yes I know your heart is breaking Now I can recall when our troubles seemed small we would stumble and fall but still be playing I'd look at you and we'd laugh 'cause we knew it was just a game But summer has gone, all the laughter and song now the winds have begun and it's raining Come up to me and say what you see, yes I know your heart is breaking But summer has gone, all the leaves all our songs now the winds have begun and it's raining Come up to me and say what you see, yes I know your heart is breaking, yes I know your heart is breaking...
