Silent Tongue: post punk band that plays the most energetic rock music you may possibly hear. That sounded a bit pompous, but it's true

Silent Tongue is a post-punk-indie-rock-your-socks-off band

Story behind the song
many visions about things we experience in life, and sometimes question, and then don't have an answer for why we keep doing those things
Lyrics
competition sets in, supermarket checkout line, magazines they tell her being fat is such a crime. Insecure gym teacher preaches protein shakes and weights. Little boy knows better--throw him to the ground next time. Drunken eyes are calling, speaking to the self-absorbed wanna-be actress singer signing shirts at the record store. Muscle conscious beaches. Oil on my sunburn face. Maybe all these mirrors show us what we'd like to think? Stress is hurting my eyes, all the walls are paper thin. Chemical reactions in other rooms affecting me. Shit, I used to date her on another mental binge. Ever before after isn't what the real world said. (make time hear time waste time hate time). She looks at her intention running out the door. She writes a nasty letter, only she can't find a word. Maybe fate is calling? Maybe she's unsure? Disappointed favors spitting back for more. Slowly finds the remote, 90210 tells her it will be ok. Now, she can move on.
