Artist picture
For fans of nine inch nails, tool, nirvana, sonic youth, faith no more, tomahawk, led zeppelin, pink floyd, melvins,
Mannequin is an independent, experimental, industrial rock band. My music has been described as dark & disturbing, but simultaneously beautiful and honest. Full of revenge for scornful lovers, as well as disgust, self loathing, and regret. The debut album, "Denial Fixation" was finished in 2002. "Straining the Retina" is a concept album started in 2002, and although never officially released, the songs have slowly been surfacing in different forms. "Worn" is the current album for the songs I'm releasing now. I'm looking at releasing it physically and/or digitally later this year. Also see my page on myspace:

Lyrics
it's not the first time but this is a new line stole me away from my family threw me into the factory taught me a new way there's nothing left inside, that you haven't touched, or made me hide there's not an inch of me, inside and out that you haven't burned and filled with doubt every part of what I am, reflects your ancient path in the sand all your roads point to nowhere, nowhere I'll ever want to be no choices within, these walls of education - fully sanitized, and dripping with manipulation there's nothing left inside, that you haven't changed, or made me hide there's not an inch of me, inside and out that you haven't burned and filled with doubt every part of what I am, reflects your ancient path in the sand for hundreds of years, you've taken our children taught them not to speak, but only to listen there's nothing left inside, that you haven't infected, or made me hide there's not an inch of me, that you haven't burned and filled with doubt you're inside and out every part of what I am, reflects your ancient path in the sand it's not the first time, but this is a new line
