Story behind the song
I wrote this well over year before it was recorded. It was one of my early forays into songwriting, and I stuck it in the back of my lyrics notebook to be dealt with later. While recording the CD, I came across the song, took it out, and started playing it again. I fiddled with some chords and lyrics, and was shocked at how much energy and potential the song had. I knew I had to record it. So I did. And it was good. Amen.
