Lyrics
I was a book that you couldn’t open. I felt like a storm that would not roll. It’s all relative in my dreams, but this pain I’m feeling, the good Lord heals because the Lord knows. The good Lord knows. If you have ever dreamed of Heaven. If you have ever dreamed of blue skies. If you have ever wondered what’s behind these blue eyes. The Lord knows. The good Lord knows. I didn’t want them to see me lose my mind. I didn’t want them to see me lose myself, again. Here he is again. A wondering soul. Where did he lose himself? The good Lord knows. So if I ever seem to fade away. I may be stealing myself against this pain. It’s all relative in my dreams. But this fear I feel inside the good Lord heals. Because the Lord knows. The good Lord knows. I didn’t want them to see me lose my mind. I didn’t want them to see me lose myself, again. Here he is again. A wondering soul. Where did he lose himself? The good Lord knows. If you have ever dreamed of Heaven. If you have ever dreamed of blue skies. If you have ever wondered what’s behind these petrified eyes. The Lord knows. The good Lord knows. These eyes. These blue eyes

Always liked this song, love the message, great vocalization, Really nice pick for a live version. Thanks for bringing it Matt. Your emotion and intensity while preforming really comes through here (this version of this song). Keep the faith and always remember this and I've told you before and you know; "When the singing man is at his song the holy are on their knees. . . . . keep the holy on their knees."
