The music is made in damp (and not-so-damp) basements, in bedrooms in tiny high-rise apartments with uncomfortably close neighbors, and sometimes outside. Nothing is too unconventional. The ends justify the means. He uses an array of collected instruments, from synths (hard and soft) to dulcimers to pedal steel guitars to upright basses, coupled with a home computer, a few mics, and a lot of dorked out enthusiasim to make the music he does.
