Hi! This is Charlie B., singer, songwriter, and guitar player for the band Freudian Press. I now play in the band The Sage Experiment. We play the Freudian Press catalog, and more! You can follow me at http://www.facebook.com/sageexperiment Freudian Press started in 1994, performing regularly for audiences in the midwest. The band has gone through a number of line-up changes over the years, and has gone from an acoustic-only band with two hand percussionists to an all-electric band with a set drummer.... all the while featuring both classic rock covers and my original songs. I am a self-taught musician, thus the reason for my playing a right-handed guitar upside-down, as a lefty. I have written and performed more than 50 original songs to date. I am also a published poet, and design and draw posters for Press shows. With a catalog of over 100 cover songs in addition to my original compositions, I'm never lacking material, and have performed in Freudian Press shows that lasted in excess of 5 hours. I am currently still writing, and recording sessions are in the works. The live songs presented on this site were all recording using a hand-held camcorder, and the studio songs were recorded in small home studios or in makeshift basement setups.

Lyrics
There's a river flowing down a mountainside It's been living there, I think, for a very, very long time And I love to hear it sing it's song And I know one day I'll sing along There's a pond that's sleeping in my neighbor's backyard I'll go swimming even though the sign says, "No Trespassing" And I know I will get caught someday And I know exactly what I'll say I'll say, "Sir, please turn around because I'm naked "Have you seen that river, man, I really, really dig it" He said, "Son, I have no clue what the hell you're talking about "Son, stay off those drugs and leave before I call the cops" So I ran away and tried to hide Took my skirt off in a field of daisies and sunshine Then I fell into a cloudy dream There I was back at the same old scene Found myself behind a watershed Took off all my clothes to be naked And I know I will get caught someday And I know exactly what I'll say I'll say, "Sir, please turn around because I'm naked "Have you seen that river, man, I really, really dig it" He said, "Son, I have no clue what the hell you're talking about "Son, stay off those drugs and leave before I call the cops"
