ah, if i had singles, this would probably be a b-side. It's short, simple, and acoustic. And the bass isn't in tune.

Black #8, a one man made-in-my-room recording project, to allow me complete freedom which i didn't have in other bands.
Well firstly, the band name is written "Black #8". But websites don't like the character "#". It's not really a band, more of a solo recording venture. Just me, Jim, with a host of stringed instruments, recording in my bedroom. With a computer mic. The results are far better than i thought they could be though.

Story behind the song
About being left by someone (again), and how you feel afterwards... an appeal to the person in question to realise how much better the situation was.
Lyrics
I'm still trying to seperate, This future from my past, Coz if you haven't changed at all, I know that this won't last.. I remember the last time, You left my heart in chains, So...step back everyone, while i lose my head again. realise that there's nowhere, nowhere i can go to rid myself of feelings that were planted here by you. I remember thinking, that it could be the same, but finally it's happened, I've lost my head again. realise we're much better, together than apart... So hold me close once more.. and make a brand new....start.
