I called this "Levee" due to the ending in how the guitar comes out shining from all corners, offering, visually, a resolve to a funky driving song; like a mirage gone real.

Story behind the song
This piece began with the bass, and really also, the sound of this particular bass. A "woody" kinda snap to it when you use the snap and slap style. Couple of firsts here. This bass is a heavily modified BC Rich Mockingbird, and also, the guitar used here is a recent acquisition; a 1986 Parker Fly Classic; both firsts when recording. I called this "Levee" due to the ending in how the guitar comes out shining from all corners, offering, visually, a resolve to a funky driving song; like a mirage gone real. Song was released March 24th 2002.
