Lyrics
you might be tired of songs when i debate my soul's problems
but i, got enough inside to make a whole album
so i, pour my thoughts on a page for a day when i
look back to see my problems all went away
they say to live for the moment, but what if
ya mind never gives you the chance to ever spend time on it
thus my sonnet, to break my minds gauntlet
its tearin up my heart, its so hard to find promise
im just being honest, why go to my college
but leave wit no wisdom and have divine knowledge
i got so many trials and tribs, im just tryin to live
staring into the sun tryin to see what time it is
im startin to lose hope, my faith is disintegrating
so many demons in me there's no point in meditating
i feel the end coming, these are my last thoughts
my mental will and testiment fueled by a black heart
i feel like a crab in a barrel, everybody's lookin at me
pokin me wit sticks, hopin i forget
who i am but i cant, i came too far to go back
now im a man, i gotta let you know that
i got a hold of my temper, since that day in september
when i was born, my mind is still torn
there are times that i wish that i was stillborn
i wasnt, a hateful world, i was left on
but i cope wit, the drama, the anguish, the mama
of my baby, i got ta, unless i'll go crazy
thoughts of when i was young and still havin fun
grabbin action figures and not grabbin gunz
when i stare into a mirror, and look into my eyes
i see nothing but pain n a man about to die
i see a small boy in a prison, servin out a sentence
of life, aint a thing can make a difference
i see a dog on the side of the road
hit by a car, body all broken, tryin to moan
i see a fish caught on a hook, a bear caught in a trap
a village on fire cuz of the war in iraq
matter fact, im tired of this, im slicing my wrists
i walked the road of life drunk, then i died in a ditch
i'd rather be a dream in ya mind, why try to exist?
this is the last time, last rhyme, goodbye and thats it
