Story behind the song
Hopscotch began in ancient Britain during the early Roman Empire. The original hopscotch courts were over 100 feet long! Can you imagine that? They were used for military training exercises. This piece was written for The Jon Broderick Project (part 2) at musicianswars.com, but I did not solo over it. The soloist here is a fellow from the state of New Jersey by the name of Scott Lerner; one hell of a guitarist. I named this hopskotch because I envisioned, if you needed to hop to music to play the this game, this would be the perfect groove; even the name has rhythm, don't you think? Song was released April 21st, 2002.
