Story behind the song
Originally wrote in 1996 and changed here and there since. Watching home videos of when I was a kid, I saw the hill just to the south of my grandparent's house. It's where all of us kids played on including my dad, my uncle and my aunt. I just re-recorded it using some new equipment my wife got me for Christmas. Thank you Tanya!! I love all of it and you! Hope everyone likes the song.
Lyrics
Tumble Hill - Aaron Humphries Rode to work one morning With Grandpa Listening to the radio Having the greatest ball But I couldn’t wait ‘til I got home And hoped time would stand still So I wouldn’t run out of playtime On my favorite hill Chorus: Tumble Hill Rolling down, ‘round and ‘round we’d go… down Tumble Hill No matter the time or the day we would know There’s nothing better than Tumble Hill Every summer day We played around On a hill back then was steep It seemed to look straight down Now my kids are playing It gives me the greatest thrill Just to watch them on the top Of now this small hill Chorus Bridge: Even in a misty moonlight I can still hear the sounds They reminds me when I was a kid Playing around They said someday I'd forget it But I told them I never will How can I forget those times I had on Tumble Hill Chorus
