Poetical rhymage.
I'm just one member of Northern Lights and this is my first ever mix tape release. I'm hoping by the next one i'll be using all my own beats but I am quite happy with some of what I got and I enjoy doing me so it's all good.

Lyrics
Frankie paced back and forth and was making me more nervous Gotta hide-away, stay cautious, I don’t wanna die today I feel nauseous shit we had just obeyed orders “Frankie, sit the fuck down there’s time for that once they’ve caught us!” We’re stuck now; the police have surrounded the building We’re guilty of murder two guards and three civilians For what, through gunshot the others took the millions? Empty handed, held up stranded in an abandoned pavilion. Sweat is running down my face and past my eyes along with tears Quick flashes of my life; it’s been a struggle all these years To feed my daughter and her mother wasn’t easy, it never is; When you’re unemployable your troubles fall on deaf ears. Petty crime was the obvious solution, I saw no harm When my family’s hungry and I have drink to spend my cash on You never think they’ll catch you, if you’re careful, it’s stupid But the bigger the gang the more ambitious the crew is And there’s viciousness to it if you plan to survive And when it comes to the crunch the larger crimes can take lives It’s worth it for the prize but can mean your demise There’s sacrifice on the field and this time it is I Frankie’s only eighteen he got in this via reference But when shit hit the fan he was less of a preference Left to face death with me as an experienced guide He was down for the ride hell he tried; ducked and fired But now he’s losing his nerve, this kid’s fuckin wired And if I wanna survive I’ll leave the rookie to die. I couldn’t look in his eyes see there wasn’t a choice I needed him to go quiet so I softened my voice I said Frankie hand me that duffle bag in the corner It was ‘our’ fifteen hundred, ideas of mine getting warmer He knelt down, unzipped it, clip unloaded I felt his head split I’d dealt death today so many times this was no different. I grabbed the money and reloaded my piece This was the one chance that I had to split this place and get a taste Of freedom.. and then maybe I could find the others I got shares in high stakes and I’ve been through all the trouble. I escaped through the sewer pipe, traipsed through shit ‘til I arrived At the location we had intended to reconvene at when we survived The surprise on their faces as I tried to remain faceless showed while Telling them how the police had shot Frankie as they chased us Then questioned how they escaped, where was I when they made their break? But there were no forward answers then my hands started to shake The money lost its significance and for the second time tonight My life flashed before my eyes again as black defined the white My pupils stared out wide; I didn’t even hear the shot Before my knees gave up on me my own life I had forgotten. I had been pushed right to the bottom of the street’s food chain And nothing could have stopped them they had won this game Perhaps if Frankie had been there then something would have changed But just like Frankie now I was left to gather my own brains.
