Former Elektra/Asylum solo artist James Sinclair has left a two decade trail of sophisticated pop music in his wake. The singer/songwriter degreed at the New England Conservatory of Music before embarking on a career that included major label deals, L.A. session gigs and tons of studio production. This is James' first album since the Elektra days and is a true labor of love. Self-produced over a three year period and featuring some of L.A.'s finest sidemen, you'll hear a rare level of maturity that relates to the music of Steely Dan, Sting and Al Jarreau. If you appreciate jazz influences, classic rock and great vocals, this one's for you!

Lyrics
Raised up in the Atomic Age Tract homes backin’ up the tail fin craze Sputnik streakin’ across the nighttime sky Change came like a meteor Question authority, don’t let ‘em cut your hair Get out and march to make the system fair Psychedelic moods and attitudes, free love’s cool We declare an end to war CHORUS Ain’t nothing left to revel against We took it all, the Greedy Generation Don’t even try it kid, ain’t no more to do Tore down the walls, tore up the rest We had a ball, the Greedy Generation The media reporting our revolutionary views That’s how the Greedy Generation grew Stairway to Heaven, All You Need is Love Can’t seem to hear them old tunes enough Look, here we are in our paisley best You can’t match that kinda style The pigs knoew we meant business then Hey sprout, you won’t see action like that again Hendrix on the left side, Dylan in the right Rock ‘n’ roll ruled the dial CHORUS (… Sorry kid, ain’t no windmills for you to change into The darlings of the media, now here’s the latest news) Cheer up, enjoy fruits of our labors We did it all for you We did it for the neighbors And if ya find some culture, that ain’t quite bulletproof Just don’t try anything while you’re still under this roof…
