Story behind the song
Jaron Eldon: Another name from me, it's just so clever isn't it. This was the last piece written for the album and was inspired by Bass Communion, which originally inspired the ambient project itself, so things have come full circle. There are many layers in this song, and they are removed and put back in and then removed again, it's a very ambient piece. I would imagine that this would be most people's least favourite because it's the least song-based. It's like a gigantic slowly moving soundscape snake, or something. Gavin Stewart: Just a duet really, I don't remember Pete having anything to do with this one. Multiple layers of pads in this, wonderful flow. It's a large, slow forming ambient piece with very very minor details that really requires paying attention to, but you can have it on in the background and be doing studying just the same. A great accomplishment for Jaron and I both, processing and experimental-wise. In this project, the experimental aspect was really a matter of getting really great textural sounds from primarily analogue effects by processing them all to death.
