It is tragic that there are some artists who become ridgedly attached to a particular musical era. Corey Hart, with his severe eyes and spiked hair became the poster child for mid-1980’s MTV pop rock, and unfortunately, his skills as a superior songwriter and composer were overlooked. Even with the mega-produced veneer of this song stripped away, it remains an anthem to survival and strength of will.
