The Seriously Overs' story began the day Alex's pulse stopped. Victim of a freak amplifier accident in the autumn of '74, he became a restless spirit, refusing to die until electro pop was the definitive sound of a generation. 12 years later, in a Parisian hospital, a humourous slip up turned life changing farce saw baby Ian 'IMP' Milton-Polley seperated from his wealthy French lineage, and delivered into the arms of two broke American Beatniks. The new parents, both more than willing to avoid any embarrassing resemblance questions, returned to their home of New York, and raised their new son the American way - with yeast. Fast forward to 2004... Thanks. Wait, youve gone over.. thats it.. great. In the winter of 2004, Paul Bushnell, an prototype keyboard by Roland, is dropped by his life label. Depressed, jaded, and confused by a lack of any real need for him on the Portsmouth music scene anymore, he falls over. Onto the floor. When he looks up, the words 'Alex Denham, circa AD to 1974. His spine may be shattered, but his passion for electro is not' stare back at him, and before he could pick himself up, a translucent hand reached down to help him.
