The quality isn't great...this version was recorded a while ago. But I'm currently re-recording it.

After his departure from RFR, James Clarke resumes work on the Death of the Day project under the name Jx.
Boo. I am James. I spent a few years playing guitar in a band called Running From Reason - Check them out...they're awesome guys...but I quit in early 2005. I am now working on some solo stuff, my current project being the Death of the Day project.

Story behind the song
I wrote this while I was with Running From Reason. It has no vocals because I can't sing, And I can't find a singer. If you live in the Cambridge U.K kind of area and can sing...call me!
Lyrics
There’s nothing left, this is the end The world will die tonight A tear breaks away; falls silently And severs the shadow I will never forget you... I will never see tomorrow. Together we will watch the Sun As it goes down the final time I’ll take your hand as darkness comes And I’ll never let go. And I knew then I’d die with her We’d never see the morning come. Our tears joined on her cheek We closed our eyes. --Rather than writing out “this is the end” lots of times, I’m just gonna put a “*” okay?-- *Our time’s run out *Pained voices shout *Of everything *Cry as they sing *Words turn to dust *I inhale ash *A final prayer *Echoes forever *Tears reflecting fire *The falling choir *As sunlight fades *Death of the Day Then I’m left alone. All that remains is a solitary voice. The eternal echo of the last words ever spoken.
