Story behind the song
The Monks of Darhan are an ancient sect of religious scholars who are revered as the holiest of the elite brotherhood of Mongolian monks. For many generations this secretive organization has trained every influential power broker of the Mongolian empire. They have used a time tested traditional system that includes a mix of martial arts and mental stamina training. When these seemingly meek monks are pressed into action they are more lethal than 10 ninja warriors. Recently the advancements of technology have enabled encroachment attempts on the sanctity of the monks covenant. There have been many groups, for many varied reasons, who have launched assaults on the Monks covert order. Computer research, high powered listening devices, night vision and covert operations have all made advancements in the quest to unlock the code of silence held by the Monks. None of these attempts have been successful however they have been getting closer and closer of late. The Monks have elected to go on the offensive and devise a master plan to elevate the Monks of Darhan to a new level of supremacy. In the sacred shrine of the high temple buried deep in the highlands of Mongolia the 12 Monks form the circle of power and lock minds into one omnicient oracle of being. This oracle will unlock the power of the Buda and set the wheels of fate into motion. The oracle has declared this new offensive plan to be the "Ascension". The "Ascension" will restore the Monks of Darhan to their rightful place in the order and quash all threats present and future.
