Hmm...
TENTALENTS has a multi-generational sound that one hears in contemporary Christian music. They have carefully married their contemporary Christian roots to a new, innovative sound that all music lovers can take home. Their key violin and acoustic guitar foundation along with intricate percussion passages have allowed the band to pursue their original music composition to a new depth and breadth.
TENTALENTS is excited to announce the release of their second album, Shine on My Life. This album, recorded in Portland, Oregon, has an amazing amount of potential to impact Oregon, the West Coast, and even the national Christian community as well as reach out to those music lovers who don’t acknowledge Christ as Lord.
Founded in February of 2001 by Nate Wagner and Jeremy Andresen, TENTALENTS is an ensemble with obvious deep religious motivation. The two founding members began to play and write music together because of a joint love for worship music and a need for worship leaders in their home church in Corvallis, Oregon. Slowly, the band gained recognition around the Willamette Valley. Today, they have performed for audiences all over the Pacific Northwest, Brazil, Mexico and Latvia. Although independently sponsored, TENTALENTS is infused with natural abilities that have taken their music to anew level of creative performance allowing for a larger than normal breadth of acceptance. Young children, pre-teen, high school, college and even retirement age audiences embrace the band’s passion for God as well as their heart to lead others in worship.
The band has two studio albums to their credit. Their first, Come be with Me, was recorded in July of 2001. This album captures the band’s early development with multiple lead singers, integral violin playing, and a driving acoustic guitar foundation. The second album, Shine on My Life, showcases the band’s current lineup of musicians and newest songs. The project was recorded in December of 2003. With two years between the projects, the band’s sound has grown to include more complex vocal and rhythmic passages balanced by simple chord progressions. These traits are characteristic of the Christian worship songs the band emulates.
TENTALENTS hopes to see their fan base continue to grow as they encourage others through their positive, worship oriented music.
