This music was written quite a while ago and recently I found it necessary to rewrite the lyrics...

catchy rock??? Listen for yourself.
Welcome, there isn't much to say that would make you understand what I do better than just letting you know who I am, which is Jay. I'm the kind of guy who would rather stay inside and write then go outside and play, forever. I'm the kind of guy who falls in love with almost everything, finds it hard to capture it all in a song so has to keep on going. I may be wrong but for me, a good songwriter can't be one that sits back and smells the coffee and relaxes, a real songwriter is basically (in a nice way) tormented by creation, and that is me.

Story behind the song
My friend's Grandmother was in the Hospital and due to some serious surgeries was barely hanging on, I was sitting in the ICU waiting room surrounded by her broken, crying family members, crying myself. It was 4am on a Tuesday morning and I was reminded of this old song (which had the same title). I sat writing the lyrics down in a steady stream, I sang it over in my head to the original tune and considered it 'done'. By 7:30 her Grandmother had passed away. I think I wrote this from everyone's standpoint but mostly the standpoint of her Grandfather who has been instantly forced to live life on his own after years and years. This song is dedicated to her.
Lyrics
Tuesday morning 4am I fall apart, we start again and as I walk with you, you fall behind hold your picture in my head remember every word you've said a thousand memories rushing through my mind You, oh, it's hard looking away though You, oh, I'm not saying goodbye though I can't, I won't Hold your hand just one last time I'll be yours, yeah you'll be mine Say, "I love you" 'fore you go on home I don't mind, I can be strong My heart, I know, won't steer me wrong when you're inside my dreams I'm not alone You, oh, it's hard looking away though You, oh, I'm not saying goodbye though I can't, I won't Tuesday morning 4am Hold your picture in my head
