Story behind the song
Like "Don't Tell Me Goodbye", the tune stuck with me. Then I thought of how I let others screw me up. Brittany, my four-year-old daughter pictured above with the lyrics, fell madly in love with this song when I wrote it last year and I let her record a clip (to which she sang the first couple of lines of the chorus and went off on her merry little way like a 3-yr-old would). I decided to let her shine for those six-seconds of glory as I fade out. It's really cute. You gotta admit it!
