Bass on this song was played by Tom Owen. Thanks Tom!
A melancholy hard rock band with influences from the likes of Failure and King's X to David Bowie and the Cars.
Son of Man is the solo project of Jason Morris, drummer for the band Celestial Static. This project attempts to draw on Jason's 90's hard rock influences, but with an infusion of 80's New Wave. Most of these songs are demos, for what will hopefuly be a full length album. This page should be seen as a more of a public sketch book for my music.

Story behind the song
This is about losing faith. Then finding it. Then losing it again. Then finding it. etc, etc.
Lyrics
You must have known of my impending fall you must have seen the writing on the wall It's in you're blood, but it bears my signature Your words are lost on the chronicly unsure It's complicated when your faith falls apart And it's hard to fake it, when you see right thru my heart. Is this confliction? when you have'nt got a clue. Or is just sedition, the things I say and things I do? I still dont know why you care. I'll never know why you still put up with me. I never thought that I could change, but I am. I am. Will I ever learn to give everything to you? One day I'll slip into the dark alone. Will you smile, and welcome me back home? Or will you turn away just like I always did. Just to run back to you, with something new to forgive.. Something new. There's always something new.
