Jim Lane and Robin Lane ,we are Frontier Galaxies.Robin has been playing music and singing since the age of 7.He has been in country bands and rock bands and has done a solo acoustic act.
Jim has been writing songs since 1991.He spent 5 and a half years writing country music in Nashville.2001 was the first time these brothers put their talents together and formed Frontier Galaxies.They have a debut CD called "Livin' In America" (It Don't Come Cheap) and hope to do more in the future.

Story behind the song
I was thinking about how a lot of problems are solved around the kitchen table as long as you're willing to talk about them.So,the song is about a couple trying to get over one of life's rough spots and how hard it is to just start a conversation when pride must be overcome.

She asks him to pass the potatoes,he looks up but he doesn't speak
He just hands the bowl to his daughter and looks out the window instead
As the silence grows louder and louder,he opens his mouth and says
The neighbors' got a new car,I wonder how they'll pay for that
I know that he works very hard,they must have put a little back
And as he looks back at the table,she brushes a tear from her eyes
