A combination of two poems written by a friend, Chris Anderson.
punk political social roc
A solo punk band with songs ranging from politics to social issues to evolutionary biology.
Lacking any real musical talent, I decided to use Punk-o-Matic to create some generic punk backgrounds to the various songs I had written. Recorded at low quality through a computer microphone, the songs are not musical masterpieces but the lyrics are still strong. Give it a listen, you might enjoy it.

Lyrics
Pistons pump, the turbine is alive Mighty awakening after the era of the tithe The dues are paid, spirits harvested by the scythe Steel generation emotionlessly cries Away with crop rotation, technological farm production soars Fresh produce with a hint of copper sold by the scores Kids say it tastes like pennies, we say that’s the norm What should they care, this is the age into which they were born (Come on, you couldn't figure out these lyrics from hearing them?) Heavy trigger finger on the abort button Arcade racer lover or careless glutton? Utopia found by two soul mates But at 5 PM, they close their gates Pay toll reality check, time to give in Speed up again: this is the world we live in Eight billionth Barbie hits the shelf Another baby dies of pollution-incited bad health Hypocritical environmentalists drive SUVs Jumpy economists get ulcers over GNP 12 year old doesn’t have a cell phone and he’s bitchin Arcadian life abandoned: this is the world we live in
