Story behind the song
She could't believe she actually shot him. All she could feel was the solid block in her chest that felt like a cake of Ice, buried where her Love should be. She knew he was having an affair, but she had no idea that she would ever get that angry. It was the last straw in a chain of events that finally made her snap and try to threaten him with that gun. She never intended to fire it - she just wanted to scare him. It wasn't even suppose to be loaded if she remembered correctly. All she could think of on the drive to the motel room where she found him - "Things will never be the same." Now that he is dead and she is sitting in prison waiting for her hearing, again it comes to mind - "Things will never be the same." Her finger wrapped around the trigger still couldn't calm the monster of rage inside her when she found them in that room. Now what was going to happen? What about Kevin their son who's still at Summer Camp. Who will tell him. Who will care for him. Will she see him before they put her away? Thing's will never be the same...
