Dana Hamilton’s influences of Dave Gilmour, Duane Allman, Ry Cooder, Neil Young, Allman Brothers blend beautifully with Tom Chiles’ influences of Steely Dan, The Doobie Brothers, Alan Parsons, The Guess Who and Gino Vannelli to create a totally new sound that is varied, interesting, melodic and last but not least, the duo’s music has repeat listen-ability. Tom and Dana had been jamming together for ten years before they put their first song to paper. Lyrics
Lovin' and leavin' Is that the way it goes Loving you was believing I'm at heavens door Lovin' you and leavin' Was it a matter of time Loving you was believing You're what I needed to find You got me rocking and reeling Ooo I should have known But loving you I was feeling Like there's nothing more Oh I'm Laughing I'm crying You say that I'll do fine No more time for dreaming When love is on the line Lovin' and leavin' Is that the way it goes But loving you was believing I was at heavens door I was at heavens door Oh there's nothing more I was at heavens door I was at heavens door Oh there's nothing more I was at heavens door I saw heavens door
