Brilliant light above [Revelation 20:1]
Pierced the darkened sky, [Matthew 24:29]
Bringing hope of promise not forgotten.
In that brilliant light
The winged creature came,
Flying down to make way for the King.
In his hand he held
A key and mighty chain.
And wielding great power he locked
The Dragon far away. [Revelation 20:2-3]
Sky filled blinding white, [Matthew 24:30-31]
Deafening thunders sound.
The King descends to sit upon His throne.
The splendor of it all
I was so overwhelmed.
I cried so hard with joy to overflowing.
The miracle began
The rising of the dead, [Revelation 20:4]
The ones who stood in truth against
The liars to the end.
Millennium.
The King has come to give reward
To those he calls his own. [Revelation 20:4, 6]
So they reigned on earth [Daniel 7:27, 1 Corinthians 6:2, Revelation 2:26, Revelation 3:21]
For one thousand years, [Revelation 20:6]
A legacy that never had an equal.
All that was destroyed
Made better than before, [Acts 3:21]
In the glory of our perfect King.
Millennium.
The King has come to give reward
To those he calls his own. [Revelation 20:4, 6]
Many of the children of this
New millennium had hearts of unbelief.
So one final time the Dragon
Was set free to steal the souls of those he could. [Revelation 20:3, 7-8]
Finally the fallen cast into the Lake of Fire.
We who were the tried and true,
We entered into life anew
And Glory. [Revelation 20:9, 11-15]
His glory transcending
The ages unending.
This last age perfection.
Sing praises all creation to His name.
