Story behind the song
Funnily enough, I wasn't trying to write a song, I was just messing around with some synth sounds and this just kind of happened, totally unplanned. The music inspired the title, reminded me of the time I was lucky enough to visit South Africa and view the Blyde River Canyon. The Blyde River Canyon is SA's answer to America's Grand Canyon, which I haven't been lucky enough to visit.
