Story behind the song
This was written around the time I dropped out of an I.T. degree in Galway. I went on to study Music instead. There is still piano and maybe drums and backing vocals to be added.
Lyrics
We organise our lives around the TV times, Cheap beer and overpriced wines, Disappointing flings with ungrateful girls And drunken friends who always hurl Childish pranks and cheap thrills Exclamation overkill!!!!! Drop out and run away Caffeine addicts all our days Warm bed, a nights sleep A guitarist plays creep Get drunk once again Mobile phone, call a friend Morrissey and Shakespeare Layla and Wish You Were Here The Bends and Strange Days Gimme another catchphrase
