Hipper Than Thou is essentially School House Rock for obscure history and theology.
Hipper Than Thou is an ill fated collection of personalities with no commercial aspirations whatsoever. Our music is less bound by style than it is by talent. All songs are limited to the 9 chords our guitarist knows. Stylistically we range from Folk, to Jazz Folk, to Electric Folk, with a little Folk Rock.

Story behind the song
Franz commissioned Caedmon to write this song after encountering a vegitarian who claimed it was unnatural to eat meat. Franz has never understood the vegitarian's lack of respect for vegitable life. After all, a carrot isn't any less alive than a cow. At least a cow can defend itself with its horns and hoofs. Vegitables are unable to defend themselves except by using their very foul flavor and occasionally hiding underground or in trees.
Lyrics
R-Type World Give me a hammer I’ll build a bird house, And watch them devour those weaker than them. Give me a hammer I’ll knock your block off, ‘Cause every Mo must have a Shem. Can you imagine a world without suffering? Imagine a world where there’s nothing to eat. We’re anthropologically K-Type people, Who live on an R-Type street. Give me a jar and I’ll show you a seed pod, Where mantises hatch and then fight to the death. Show me a saint and I’ll show you a man, Who refuses to fight his bad breath. Can you imagine a world without dying? Can you imagine a world without food. We’re anthropologically K-Type people, Who live in an R-Type zoo. A pacifist T-cell, surges in the veins of the dead. Breeding HIV Cells (Is that a cell?) I must admit biology is over my head. Give me a shot that will save a human, At the expense of millions of germs. Show me a man who will give his life, To benefit daisies and worms. Can you imagine a world of equality? Where parasites have all the rights of a girl. We’re cute little cuddly K-Type people, But this is an R-Type World.
