Artist picture
An independent singer-songwriter originally from Nevada City, CA, James has been writing and producing his own music for over a decade. His “do-it-yourself” methods have yielded three albums of diverse musical style and influence; Here Nor There (2010), Making It Right Again (2005), and Let Me In (2003). Each album presents a world of bitter-sweet joy wrapped up in musical styles ranging from Alternative Rock to Folk to Indie Pop with a lot of stops in between. His music pulls from many influences from the past and brings them into a modern setting with a feeling and spirit that is uniquely his.

Lyrics
You gave it away for a moment I could see it there in your eyes The things that you said made sense to me Somehow I knew you were right Walking home beneath street lights Dragging my heart on the ground Knowing this love I've just thrown away Is the best love that I've ever found But I left you alone that night back in June To cry yourself to sleep I didn't love you enough to stay by your side But I loved you enough to leave Lying awake I can see you Wondering how you'll get by But the truth is you'll be fine without me But without you I think I might die So what can be said of emotion And surely I've been overcome 'Cause if this feeling I've got is the right one Then what I've just done is wrong 'Cause I left you alone that night back in June To cry yourself to sleep I didn't love you enough to stay by your side But I loved you enough to leave (Chorus x2) I loved you enough to leave I loved you enough to leave I loved you enough to leave I loved you enough to leave And I loved you enough to come back again
