The word "acoustic" has really been overused and abused -- and we admit that we were ACCIDENTALLY part of the whole fad. We are, above all, quite fascinated with the sound of our guitars at its simplest form -- plain and clean. Just that, really. We play songs that we feel have created an impact on us though deep or shallow... doesn't matter, as long as it’s not really pretentious. And because of this, we get all sorts of reactions -- either they're bored or really interested. Whatever the response, each and every gig will be a different story to tell. The tandem was formed late January 2003, when these girls have decided to make music together. They do acoustic sets and both of them are on guitars and vocals. Most of their acoustic gigs are played with percussionist DJ Rodriguez. Recently, they decided to team up and finally complete the 5-piece band lineup with Cyril Sorongon on drums, and Ephraim Ong on bass. Jaycie and Honey are currently working on materials to record this year (hopefully!) for an upcoming independently released album. visit www.jaycieandhoney.multiply.com for more info about the band. :)

Story behind the song
One of Honey's first few written songs- and our official entry to the Nescafe De-Wired Competition in 2003. We were finalists! :) This was actually our first recording experience, thanks to Vicor Music!
Lyrics
She spins around, eyes open wide; watching how fast things go by. She comes to a stop, her head suddenly drops; she lets out a big, big sigh. Then she keeps quiet and sits still; and then emotions begin to fill her famished soul that no one knows about; she looks up to the sky, the sensation is high as she screams a silent shout. Walking on cracks, thoughts playing in her head. The moon is her sun, she cries just for fun, sees a darkness in a bright shade of red. Calls out her own name, feels alone just the same. Butshe's so much alive, she's so muc alive. Far from Dead. She takes her guitar, drives off in her car; In search of a place where she can sing and play, to let out distress and get rid of the pain that she has to go through (she has to go through) every single damn day.
