Story behind the song
Again that is self evidential. I want those 3 years back, which years? Have you noticed songs about someone called Sophie, and if you read some of the lyrics doesn't she sound like she might be a small infant, she is infact my daughter.
I met someone through the Internet and then later in the U.S.A and even though the relationship wasn't the best we ended up having a daughter together, but with a combination of my own self and also due to I.N.S. law I haven't been there much in her life, but probably won't.
However the early years are important and since she's now 5, to have lost 3 whole years (dec 2001 - nov 2004) has left a hole in me which can never be filled and I would do anything to go back in time and correct that mistake.
