Story behind the song
This is a version of the Beatles song - Please Please Me - recorded in around 1965 when myself and a friend entered a television talent quest "The Happy Hammond Show". It was recorded by my parents at home using a National mono 1/4" reel to reel tape recorder. My mother helf the microphone up to the TV speaker. I am the one with the higher voice and the female screaming at the start and throughout number is my mother. She always loved me singing LOL. Its a bit of nostalgic fun.
